Feedback: when you play a normal match, keeping the pressure on the balls is an important criterion. Depending on how intense you play, the felt is often the bigger sticking point. This is usually different with trainer balls. Here, the balls are not hit so often, as there are many more in use. The pressure retention is the bigger problem, since internal pressure balls are so softened. With pressureless balls you avoid this problem. Because they obtain their hardness and jumping characteristics not from the internal pressure (i.e. are not inflated like a football), but from the nature of the rubber sheath. Therefore, pressureless balls have a slightly different sound. This is unpleasant for many tennis players, but these balls are ideal for use in training because they don’t become noticeably softer. The Wilson Trainer is under pressure.
